Welcome to the the info site of the Sign Language Receptive Skills Tests

Here you will find information on the British Sign Language (BSL), American Sign Language (ASL) and German Sign Language (DGS; Deutsche Gebaerdensprache) versions of the Sign Language Receptive Skills Test for parents, teachers, and researchers. The Sign Language Receptive Skills Tests or SLRST are adaptations of the BSL Receptive Skills Test (Herman et al., 1999). The original and adapted tests measure children’s understanding of sign language grammar in phrases and sentences. The different sign language versions of the SLRST are now available to carry out online.
